The Shipwood Entertainment Unit has an edgy combination of recycled timber doors and drawers set in a crisp white frame and lends an industrial country look perfect for city or country dwellers.  The drawers and doors are made of reclaimed timber from old salvaged boats, polished up and waxed with hessian linings to the drawers and the frame is MDF.

The wood for the drawers and doors is 100 year old teak recycled from salvaged ships;
the ship wood is stripped of paint, bolts and iron work removed, cleaned up, waxed and polished and reformed into this Shipwood range of furniture.

The cracks, holes, variegation, colour differences and patina is a result of the boats' years on (and under) the sea, the rescue and salvage process so obviously the wood has all the depth and character expected from unique items - quirks and flaws are all part of the special beauty of the wood. 

This Shipwood TV Stand is just high enough to be used as a buffet or storage unit, too.
