This pendant is really unique.  Made of strips of curled rattan that have been put through the bentwood process, the glowing light it gives is magical.  The natural fibres used look equally at home in a pared back interior or to add contrast to a sharp edged industrial setting.  The pendant light looks best by itself over a dining table, but would look awesome in a restaurant or similar, hung over each dining table or booth – just use your imagination!

This pendant light comes with detachable tendrils which hook on easily so you can create a lamp with random movement in the ‘locks’.

Rattan is a fast growing vine-like plant similar to palms.  In the SE Asian forests where rattan grows, its economic value can help protect forest land by providing an alternative to loggers who forego logging of hardwoods and harvest rattan canes instead.  Rattan is easier to harvest and much easier to transport, too.
