Unusual and stylish, these creative and colourful ottomans are made from 100% recycled plastic shopping bags - the cheery brights are selected and colour co-ordinated then plaited and woven to give these attractive and functional baskets...we love a bit of clever upcycling!

Minky ottoman is great grouped informally around the pool - they are splash resistant and suitable for indoor/outdoor use - giving a colour shot to complement your outdoor area, and they are nice and squashy too, for lounging around busily doing nothing.  Great for children's rooms as well, being robust, fun, cheerful, lightweight, soft and practical. 

The ottomans are all handmade by a social project in South East Asia that is providing training, fair wages and good conditions to marginalised communities. Currently a small project employing nine local people, they plan to expand and develop the workshop into a sustainable enterprise that locals can run as a co-op.
