The Libby ottoman is made of linen and hand crafted in India using locally sourced materials and fabric. A highly eco friendly fabric, linen is made from flax fibre, a renewable and sustainable resource that requires only a fifth of the pesticide and fertilizer and half the water that cotton does. It is a rotation crop that purifies the soil and leaves it clean for the next crop. Linen is also biodegradeable and recyclable.
