The Cristobel furniture collection has that classic colonial style reminiscent of a Caribbean beach house. The Cristobel lounge chair is compact in scale, great for a small corner of a bedroom or as a pair in the living room.  The fine rattan detail accentuates the dark teak beautifully.  The soft seat cushion is upholstered in an off white canvas.
      
You can create your own personal retreat by utilising several pieces of Cristobel furniture in a room or pick an accent piece to liven up a modern setting.  We realise there are lots of  cheap imitations out there that look quite similar, but they are made from wood that is low quality and from questionable sources.  The Cristobel furnishings are exquisitely hand carved from reclaimed aged  teak.  The timber is rescued from traditional Javanese homes that are being torn down to make way for modern structures. They have all the depth and character offered by recycled wood and come in a medium rustic finish.
