The Cristobel  dining chair has been hand carved out of reclaimed mahogany to resemble classic bamboo dining chairs (which are very fragile).  The padded seat is upholstered in off white calico.            

The Cristobel furniture collection has that classic colonial style reminiscent of a Caribbean beach house.  You can create your own personal  retreat by utilising several of the pieces in a room or pick just one clever accent piece to liven up a modern setting.  We realise there are lots of  cheap imitations pout there that look similar,  but they are made from wood that is low quality and from questionable sources.  The Cristobel timber is rescued from traditional Javanese homes that are being torn down and replaced with modern structures.
