This generous scaled natural rattan chair was inspired by the countryside of our favourite Australian town called Bangalow. Imagine; rolling green hills, a white timber house with wide verandahs overlooking the sea of this beautiful country-seaside village. The Bangalow chair has a uniqueness of character, it makes a strong presence and is chic yet timeless, which best describes the town and our chair too!

Rattan is a fast growing and renewable resource that requires no pesticides or fertilizers.  In forests where rattan grows, its economic value can help protect forest land, by providing an alternative to loggers who forgo timber logging and harvest rattan canes instead. Rattan is much easier to harvest, requires simpler tools, is much easier to transport and grows much faster than most tropical wood. 

*This furniture can be used outdoors undercover, but should not be left out in sun and rain. Custom outdoor cushions can be made for $200 more per chair.
