Pretty in Pink

This cozy living room says summer style all year round. It has a fun flair with some daring colour that doesn't look too safe and yet I can’t imagine ever getting sick of this Caribbean meets the Hamptons look.
What is is about this room that says sit down and pass me my daiquiri please?
-
Bold Pattern - The chairs just steal the show with their kitschy coral pink and fresh white pattern that reminds of going on vacation. If I saw this China Seas fabric in the store I would think SO tacky, but it really works!
-
This pattern is then repeated more subtly in the carpet and even in the curtains, tough I think I would opt for a sheer rustic linen curtain.
-
The colour palette is a clever play of bights against muted tones and cools against warms, keeps it very humane and inviting. Colours are repeated in several places in the space.
-
This room manages to be somewhat traditional without looking staid and old fashioned. The antique chairs painted crisp white and the rattan table in simple modern square lines makes this room truly "transitional" in style...our favourite.
-
Unexpected touches like the Blue glass candle holder (which doesn’t “match”) and pink blanket casually thrown rather than folded neatly keep this space real and not overly decorated
-
Castors on furniture are not only useful, they keep the space light...none of the furniture goes right to the ground, which is especially important when you don’t have a large room.
To get this Summery look with Eco Chic try our Lily Sofa in Bay coloured linen - we can add accent piping and legs with castors too! We have a round rattan coffee table called the Lola that would look fantastic or even the Lewis ottoman now available on castors. For fun lightweight arm chairs check out the Charlotte which we could paint in bright pink or any other colour you like, or our new Vintage Carlotta Chairs. Our Nest hemp rugs will add that lovely natural texture and our Mohair throws come in all different delicious colours.
